Watching Video 2007-06-11 05:08
After experimenting with UltraMon for a day, I cannot seem to achieve my desired configuration.
The configuration I'm trying to setup is that my primary monitor will power-down (or blank) during periods of inactivity, but my second monitor (an analog television set) will never power down. The intent if that when watching a video full screen on my television, that the video continues to play, while my primary monitor automatically powers down (darkening the room). Preferably, this would be used with PureVideo Preview creating the full screen display on monitor 2, rather than extending the desktop onto monitor 2.
Can this be done with UltraMon? If not, can it be done at all?
My results so far have involved the screen saver from monitor 1 extending onto monitor 2, or monitor 2 blanking when monitor 1 runs its screen saver.

UltraMon doesn't support this directly, I'm also not aware of another application which supports turning off only a single monitor.
What you could do is run the UltraMon Screen Saver Player add-on manually on the monitor, this will blank the monitor if no screen saver is selected.
