Hey everyone, I've been stuck for the last several months with two monitors after upgrading to Vista (BTW Ultramon 3.0 Beta1 works great with Vista x64 now). I need help finding a motherboard and multiple video card setup that will let me get back to 3+ monitors.
If you have Vista and 3+ monitors up and running, please post a quick response and let me know the make/model of your motherboard and video cards of choice--much appreciated!
thanks, Andrew

I'm using two PCIe Quadro FX 3500 video cards for 3 monitors, see the gallery for details.

I am using two NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500's with an ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe. Depending on what you are doing will determine how much video power you will need. I run 3D modeling software and that needs workstation class graphics power. I actually have 2 dvi outs on both cards, so I run 3 monitors and the last output I sometimes use to view video on my 52". My graphic cards are power hungry and require specific and careful planning with regards to power, heat, placement, etc but you will probably just need a couple of cheaper cards. There is another nice video adaptor that I had considered which might be the best soloution if it meets all of your needs made by Matrox: http://matrox.com/graphics/en/gxm/news/pr/2007/th2go_digital.php
Read up on it, this may do the trick for you.
