Using Smart Taskbar, Outlook on the secondary monitor. You create a new message it will always open on the primary. I am assuming this is because the outlook icon is in the system tray on the primary even thought Outlook is on the Smart Taskbar of the secondary monitor.
Is there a work around to this?

Outlook seems to open message windows on the primary monitor by default, to fix this move the window to the secondary monitor, then close it there. The next time, Outlook will open the window on that monitor.

Still does not work. Closed on secondary monitor, re-open, outlook does open on secondary but new messages or double clicking messages popup on Primary monitor.
Using Vista latest Ultramon.
In addition all the windows on this page open up on secondary monitor when I have IE in secondary monitor except for the last button on this page:

The last one opens up a window on Primary monitor even though IE is in secondary window.

UltraMon won't help with this as it doesn't support positioning child/popup/dialog windows, but ZMover might help.

Also applies to Outlook e-mail windows.
UltraMon could position the main Outlook window during Outlook startup, but not any other windows.
