After installing Ultramon 3.0 Beta my Windows taskbar becomes somehow corrupted. The color of the taskbar partially (from left to right 4/5 part) has changed to light grey and some icons in the True Launch Bar on the left side of the taskbar change in white squares.
But what is much stranger, all those problems disappear when I start FireFox. But as soon as I minimize FireFox to the taskbar or close it completely the strange things on the tasbar are there again.

Update:
It is not only Firefox that makes the strange behaviour of Windows taskbar disappear, every application does, as long it is maximized on screen.

The taskbar will turn off transparency if there's a maximized application open, that's probably what seems to fix the problem.

The issue with the taskbar when it is transparent is most likely related to the wallpaper, please try if you still have the problem if you use the same image or a solid color for all monitors.

I don't use any wallpaper for both monitors. They're both solid black.

When I drag the taskbar up to make it dubbelheight the icons in the True Launch Bar also go up and then are back to normal again. The color of the taskbar is only lightgrey in the lower half of the taskbar then.

When I turn transparency off in WindowsVista situation gets worse.
Th whole taskbar turns lightgrey and if I drag it to make it dubbel height or more the whole taskbar stays lightgrey and some icons of the True Launch Bar remain corrupted.

Does the problem go away if you close UltraMon?

I have to apologize. I discovered that the problem (most likely) has nothing to do with Ultramon, although it did occur for the first time after installing Ultramon. But as it did not go away when closing or even uninstalling Ultramon, I searched for the real cause.
Now I've found out that when I change the Windows Vista theme to another one the problem is gone. When I then set the theme back to what it was, everything stays ok.
Please accept my apology.
