I have tried to get the screensaver to work on both the primary and secondary monitors and what happens is it works on the primary only. I see a quick flash of the screensaver on the secondary but then it just goes black. The monitor doesn't show anything until I enter my password on the welcome screen after I exit the screemsaver. I am using Windows XP and using only the Windows screensavers. The wallpaper seems to work but displays the same wallpaper on each monitor, it's not a streched version. Could anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Please try if checking the 'preview mode' option for the screen saver on the primary monitor fixes the problem.
To configure wallpaper settings, right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray and select Wallpaper from the menu. You can then select the 'one background/image for the whole desktop' option.

I also have this exact same problem, but when I change it to preview mode, both of my monitors will be black/blank for a few moments and then the windows logon screen will show up automatically without any input. In this case, I don't see any of the screen savers flash during the whole process.

The screen saver may not have a preview mode, in this case you'll either get a blank screen or a static image.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I can manage to get it to work sometimes. If I keep trying to preview the screensavers, it'll work after many tries, but most of the time it won't. I'm beginning to think that my video card may not have enough memory to run it all the time since the two screensavers are made from video files. Could this be the case? (I have an 8600gts 256MB on a 19" 4:3 monitor and 20" 16:10 monitor).

Is this with the 'preview mode' option checked for the screen saver on the primary monitor?

Yes, preview mode will be checked on the primary monitor, the second monitor automatically has it checked, and they both run a video based screen saver. If I try to preview it many times, once in a while it will actually work, but most of the time the screens will just be black for a little bit before exiting the preview.

The screen saver probably just isn't compatible with UltraMon for some reason.
If you have a download link for the screen saver please post it here and I'll give it a try on my system.

Here's a link for one of the screen savers. I tried using this on both monitors and got the same results. It'll work on one monitor by itself (and leaving the other blank), and even works with any one monitor while the other monitor uses one of the standard windows screen savers (such as 3D flowerbox or windows xp), but it won't work if both monitors have this screen saver.

I'm seeing the same problem, looks like the screen saver has a problem if two instances are running. Unfortunately there's no fix for this.

Okay, well thanks for your time and quick replies. Hopefully it'll work in future versions/updates then.
