Forums -> UltraMon™ -> VMRC maximised causes second monitor to disappear

Hi there,
I am running windows XP as the host and Virtual Machine on the secondary monitor. When i was using v.2.7, i could maximize the virtual machine and still view the primary monitor. However, I installed the new beta and now when i maximize the secondary (VMRC), all i can see on the primary is the background...any ideas if there is a setting i am missing?
Thanks
Byron

Please check if you also have this problem without UltraMon running, my guess would be that this isn't related to UltraMon.

it's true that it happens without ultramon running, but it wasn't before i installed the new beta...

So,
I uninstalled the beta and reinstalled the earlier version, and it is back to working the way i'd expect. With the VMRC maximized i can still interact with the host system on the other monitor. I think your developers need to take a look at that, or is it maybe a setting in the V3 Beta that i missed?
Thanks,
Byron

I have now tested with VMRC, and have seen the same behavior.

When switching the VMRC window to fullscreen mode, windows on the secondary monitor get hidden if you don't have UltraMon installed, or if UltraMon 2.7.1 or 3.0.0 are installed.

With UltraMon 2.6, the windows on the secondary monitor don't get hidden.

This is more of a 'bug' though, certainly was never intended. I'll see if I can find out what prevents VMRC from hiding the windows.
