I uninstalled Ultramon completely from my computer, but I still get the MirrorDriver new hardware found screen every time I boot. I tried to remove it from Device Manager but it will not go, the registry is also read only! I tried in safe mode, nothing! Help

Unfortunately I found no way to get rid of the message on Vista RTM, even if you tell Windows to not install a driver for the device you will still get the same prompt after the next reboot.
Please note that this is only an issue with UltraMon versions prior to 2.7.1. Version 2.7.1 won't install the mirroring feature on Vista.

Update on this issue: another user has reported that he was able to remove the driver via the recovery console.
