I am using ultramon on a remote computer and that computer is running ultraVNC server as well. The remote computer has the UVNC program set to "remove wallpaper for viewers". When I connect to the remote computer using UltraVNC the wallpaper I set up in Ultramon does not disappear. It appears that Ultramon is not getting the message that it needs to remove its wallpaper. Is it possible for Ultramon to monitor this situation and remove its wallpaper temporarily, as well?

Do you have the same problem when connecting to the remote system via Remote Desktop?

I have now tested with UltraMon 2.7.1 and UltraVNC 1.0.2 on Windows XP SP2, but haven't been able to reproduce the issue.
When connecting to the remote system running UltraMon, the wallpaper got removed. After disconnecting, the wallpaper got restored.
Let me know if you are using any special settings, I used default settings for both the VNC server and client.

I am not using any special settings, but I am using the mirror driver on UltraVNC 1.02. Did you test with it? I have two monitors hooked up to a 7800GT nVidia card. thanks.

I'm not sure if I had the mirror driver installed, but that shouldn't affect UltraMon.
Do you have the nView Desktop Manager enabled? If yes, check if disabling it fixes the problem, the nView Desktop Manager also has a wallpaper manager feature.
