hello again, my feature suggestion is to make it posible to change diferent wallpapers at login time on diferent monitors since windows simply uses plain black, I just had this idea a long time ago, If you think people would enjoy it maybe you can implement it in v3.

I'm not aware of a way to do this if you're using the default Welcome screen to log in (where each account is listed with icon and name), but if you're not using the Welcome screen you could set this up manually:
run regedit.exe, go to 'HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop', then set Wallpaper to the UltraMon wallpaper bitmap you want to use, for example C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My Wallpapers\Default.bmp, and set TileWallpaper to 1.
The Welcome screen can be disabled under Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way users log on or off.

are you speaking in refrence to the boot screen or the logon screen.
there are many programs to change the boot screens and the logon screen.
if you talking about the boot screen, I do not think you can change the screens on any monitor other than the primary, simple because the video drivers haven't loaded yet. So only the primary monitor is in use until the logon.
I will have to get back to you on the logon part of it.

ok, it didn't work... I am going to assume this cannot be done due to the fact that the resoultion of the logon has to be that of all the monitors. I think that the the logon names with center automatically so if you have a dual monitor setup then the names will center and it will split between the monitors. Logon studio from Stardock aalows you to create logons but I don't see a feature there to change resolution size.
I have to assume this cannot be done.

Christian, thanks for the tip.. well my original idea was to make it possible to leave the default logon screen (with icons) and just change the plain black in the other monitors with a wallpaper.
gcdryden, I'm talking about the logon screen, nice of you to give it a try. If I ever find a solution I'll post it.
off topic P.S.: any UM3 release dates? (only 2 days till vista launch)

Cool, looking forward to it, good luck. I can relate to the pressure you must have, with everyone asking you about it in the forums, that happened to me when I was making a new version of my website, almost 2 years and I'm still not done.
