I have a Dell Latitude D620 with a docking station. The docking station has both VGA and DVI ports. Will UltraMon allow me to connect external monitors to the VGA and DVI, and still allow me to use my laptop LCD as a third video output? Basically, I would like to use my LCD, VGA, and DVI outputs as one large desktop.

Thanks,

UltraMon won't enable this, your hardware would need to support this.

But as far as I know usually you'll only be able to use either the VGA or DVI port, and not both.

One thing you could do to get a 3rd monitor would be to install an additional video card, for example the PCMCIA VTBook in the laptop, or a regular PCI video card in the docking station (if supported).

I have a Dell D620 and have two flat-panel displays hooked up to the DVI and VGA ports and it works fine. The laptop display however, will not act as a third display. When the laptop is opened, the two flat panels will be disabled and go blank and the laptop becomes the single active display.
