when XP Pro boots up I've been getting the error: "Failed to set systray icon"
What can I do to solve this problem?

I would recommend upgrading to 2.7.1, this issue has been fixed.
If you don't want to upgrade, you could delay automatic startup of UltraMon as a workaround, see this thread for details.
