I have had this problem with Ultramon for a fair while now on multiple versions.
When running multiple monitors and smarttoolbar (can't say if it happens when smarttoolbar isn't running).
I press Windows Key + D to do a show desktop. I then click on a application in my primary monitors taskbar(the windows one not smart taskbar) and it will then also launch whatever was previously on the other monitor rather then just opening the program I clicked in the windows taskbar.
Its a really annoying problem and makes my use of show desktop pretty useless.
Anyone experienced the same.

Additional Info:
The problem only happens when running smart taskbar.
To reproduce the problem do the following: Monitor 1 = Primary monitor, running windows taskbar Monitor 2 = Secondary monitor, running smart taskbar.
1. Open something on monitor 1. 2. Open something on monitor 2. 3. Press 'Windows Key' + D to do a "show desktop". 4. Select from the windows task bar on monitor 1 the application you previously had open.
Result: The application you previously had open on monitor 2 also opens. If you had more then one thing open on monitor 2 before doing the 'show desktop' it would open everything that was open again.
Conclusion: I don't think anything should open on that second monitor after doing a 'show desktop' unless I click it in the task bar to reopen it just like how it happens with the windows task bar.

Unfortunately there is no workaround for this, seems to happen because the Windows taskbar no longer has all running tasks.
If you switch the Smart Taskbar to mirror mode (UltraMon Options > Smart Taskbar), the problem goes away.
UltraMon 3 will have its own version of Show Desktop, my guess would be that this will fix the issue.

Funny, I only discovered this issue this month when bringing up a new computer for work (XP SP2). I have been using UltraMon 2.6 and 2.7 on several machines for at least 3 years. I had never even looked at the forums because I never had issues. I am glad this info was easy to find (took about 5-10 minutes of searching and reading other things before finding this post). I was wondering if the new video card and driver were causing this, but I see that it happens on my 2-year old Dell with XP SP2 as well. Some of the other forum postings complained about the cost and frequency of releases, but I have never had complaints about those. Vista support is the only thing I am looking forward to, but I am not desperate to get it.
