I have several folder shortcuts that I want to open in a specific place on my desktop and I saw that Ultramon has that ability. Well, if I set custom setting to a folder shortcut and tell it to open in a specific area it does nothing. I double-click the icon and nothing at all happens. My icon changes and I it is now linked to UltraMonShortcuts.exe and the .umshortcut file is created.
Does this feature just not work or do I have other settings that prevent this?

Let me clarify, this works with programs just fine. I am referring to explorer shortcuts which I noticed a previous post about and was said that it did not work, but that post was 4 years old.

UltraMon can't position shortcuts to folders, and also can't position Windows Explorer windows.
If you use shortcuts to different folders, the shortcuts should remember the window position, but if you have multiple shortcuts to a single folder, all shortcuts will open at the same position.

The explorer window can be moved by 'Move to other monitor' button, why can't open in specific monitor ? And if the ultramon shortcut try to open 'explorer.exe', it will take quite high CPU usage, why...?

This is due to how Windows Explorer works, also happens with other applications which run all windows from a single process, for example Firefox.
