If I select any desktop wallpaper right through windows no problem. Anytime I go to select wallpaper through Ulotramon i just get a blank background. THis happened after a machine crash where i got booted up to the active desktop disabled page.

Thanks for the log. Looks like everything should work fine, unfortunately I don't know what might cause the problem.
One thing you could try: create the wallpaper in UltraMon, apply it, then go to Display Properties > Desktop, select the wallpaper bitmap generated by UltraMon (they are stored in My Documents\My Wallpapers), and set Position to Tile.
To create a new wallpaper in UltraMon, click on the 'New wallpaper' button.

I got the same problem.
THis appears before a reinstallation, and upgrade of video card drivers.

Exact same problem here. Also happened after a crash that resulted in the active desktop disabled thing. Never had an active desktop enabled, so maybe that's a clue.

Managed to fix it.
Go to Display Properties, Desktop. Click Customise Desktop, select the Web tab.
Click new and select a picture on your HD, doesn't matter which. Make sure it's ticked.
Click OK, OK.
You should now see the white background that tells you that active desktop has been disabled. Clicking the "Restore" button doesn't help, because it has errors in the script.
Now go to Ultramon Wallpaper and select a wallpaper. Should be getting interesting now.
Go back to the active desktop settings and deselect the graphic you added. Voila!

Well I have the same problem and I partially fixed. I followed your instructions and after the "click OK, OK. Everything was fine. I should not see the white background with the active desktop disabled, I see the ultramon wallpaper instead.I don't know where is the restore button.... After this in fornt of the ultramon wallpaper (now is visible after that was white) I can see the image that I selected, like a second wallpaper in front of the ultramon wallpaper. Well I can move it and resize it but the Icon in the desktop are not transparent they are white. So what is going on? If I unselect the image everythig back as in the begining turned white whit out wallpaper. Can you help me please?

Sounds like you added a desktop item, to close it move the mouse over the desktop item, then hit the close button in the top-right corner.
