That should work fine, but I would recommend testing this yourself, you can download a trial version of UltraMon here.

Will this work with ATI 9600XT card ? It has DVI and VGA output which I have hooked up to Sony VPLHS20 projector and LCD FM Monitor, respectively. Also, my other question is I am using for HomeTheater PC so running DVD playback via software called TheaterTek...I saw your note on Mirroring may not work for DVD and 3D....what does this mean ? Will it not work in this type app ?

Hardware-wise it should be fine, but UltraMon may not be able to mirror the DVD playback application, you might have a black rectangle instead of the movie on the second monitor.
As a workaround, you could disable video overlays under settings for UltraMon mirroring, but not all video players work if video overlays are disabled, and performance and image quality will suffer, especially for fullscreen video playback.
