Forums -> UltraMon™ -> 2nd Display UltraMon Taskbar jumps to 1st display on startup

This is a strange one, but on my dual monitor display (WinXP Pro, SP2), every time I have to reboot the system or bring the system back up from locking it the night before (locked using Ctl-Alt-Del + Lock Computer), the UltraMon taskbar that references my 2nd display is placed above the primary display's taskbar. I have to move it over to the second monitor (I use a set UltraMon keyboard shortcut to do this), unlock the Taskbar and re-lock it in order for applications to maximize correctly and respect the visible taskbars on both monitors. By default, I keep my Taskbars locked.

Any ideas what could cause this, or more importantly how to fix this so that the Taskbars stay with their respective monitors?

My guess would be that the UltraMon taskbar is configured to be positioned on the primary monitor.

Moving it back to the secondary monitor manually will update the configuration, and should fix the problem.

To do this, unlock the UltraMon taskbar, then grab the bottom-right corner with the mouse and drag it to the desired position on the secondary monitor.
