Would you want to 'split' your monitor, so that you can move windows between different parts of the monitor, and maximize windows to only a part of the monitor?

I like this virtual monitor idea, kinda like having multiple desktops. Each available to be assigned to whichever monitor you choose.
Could be handy during web design, i could have virtual monitors set at certain resolutions, send my browser there.. assign it to a monitor and voila. (it's a LITTLE bit better than switching res on my primary REAL monitor imo)

yeah everyone was always evangelizing mutliple desktops to me but i could never get excited about it. this is better. its a separate workspace, without creating confusing paradigm violations such as multiple desktops having the same desktop content...
