Hi,
I'm scratching my head on this and can't see where I have gone wrong Can anyone shed any light!
I have just installed a Nvidia FX5500 which I am told supports dual moniotrs. I have my Large CRT in the VGA slot and my small TFT (running on DVI to VGA concertor as this monitor only has VGA.
On NVidia desktop manager I can see noth monitors and can see both monitors in XP, I have ticked the extend my desktop across both monitors and still nothing.
I even reinstalled the app in safe mode and that has done nothing.
Can anyone help pls???

If you get go to the settings tab on de properties page(right click on dektop)
so you say there are two active screens,
see if one of those says tv, press the button that says 'recognize' or 'identify' or something like that (my windows is in dutch), then right-click the screen with the number you didn't see. then click properties. now, because you have nvidia and mine's ati, your on your own from here, but somewhere out here there must be a setting were you can set tv off and enable a monitor.
you can also test my theory by connecting a tv-monitor to the tv-out connection.
My theory assumes you also have a tv-out.
