The taskbar on my right monitor (2 monitors) cuts off the bottom of all windows. I cannot see the status bar of IE when maximized.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!

Make sure the UltraMon taskbar is set to be always on top.
To do this, right-click a free area on the UltraMon taskbar and make sure 'Always on Top' is checked.

That is checked. Along with Lock Taskbar and Show border when hidden.
Thanks, Ben

Does restarting UltraMon fix the problem?
To do this, right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray, select Close, then start UltraMon again via the shortcut in Start Menu > Programs.

I have the same problem.
Can't see the Outlook status bar on Monitor 2 (see below) when the window is maximized and the smart taskbar is set to stay on top. Restarting Ultramon had no effect. I am running version 2.6(2.6.23.0).

Mark, the problem is that no screen space was reserved for the UltraMon taskbar.
If you use an application which modifies the workspace area, try if disabling it fixes the problem.
To check if screen space was reserved for the UltraMon taskbar, compare coordinates and workspace in the system information for monitor 2. If they are equal, no screen space was reserved for the taskbar.

Hi Christian,
I have lived with this for several months now, but still have not identified to source of the problem. I am on a new machine now and I'm still experiencing the same issue.
From the coordinates, I see what you mean about none of the workspace being allocated for the taskbar. However I can not figure out which application/setting is overriding. Any insight into possible applications and/or settings that could be having such an effect?
For reference:
2 monitors
Current desktop: 2560x1024 (0,0 - 2560,1024)
Monitor 1 - Plug and Play Monitor (primary):
Settings: 1280x1024, 32-bit color, 75 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 0,0 - 1280,1024. Workspace: 3,0 - 1280,994
Video card: ATI FireMV 2200 PCI
Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0
Monitor 2 - Plug and Play Monitor:
Settings: 1280x1024, 32-bit color, 75 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 1280,0 - 2560,1024. Workspace: 1280,0 - 2560,1024
Video card: ATI FireMV 2200 PCI Secondary
Device: \\.\DISPLAY4\Monitor0
Thanks!

One thing you could try is to disable all startup applications except UltraMon, then check if you still have the problem.
You can do this easily via msconfig.exe.

I have had the same issue and traced the culprit back to the google desktop search deskbar/sidebar. Disabling the google sidebar and restarting Ultramon corrected the issue.
If I start google desktop search deskbar/sidebar after ultramon is running everything is fine

Is the UltraMon taskbar set to be always on top?

Seems to be the same problem reported by the other posters, unfortunately I don't know what causes this, and also haven't seen this myself so far.
My best bet would be that it's caused by some other application, maybe a shell enhancement or something similar, which changes the workspace areas set by Windows.
