Hi,
I just reinstalled everything on my system and of course, I reinstalled UltraMon too, the latest version from the web site. Everything seems to work fine, however, everytime I shutdown my computer, UltramonDesktop.exe crashes and I get an error message box. I don't really get the reason why as this process is not running normally in my session. I'll gladly try to help you fix this problem, I did try running the reg file I found on this forum when searchign for the problem without any success. Note that I never had this problem before reinstalling my system.

Please send me the crash dump file to support@realtimesoft.com.
The crash dump file, user.dmp, is located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson, and contains more information about what caused the crash.
Do any display settings get changed when you shut down the system? This might cause UltraMonDesktop.exe to get started. Normally UltraMonDesktop.exe shouldn't run during shutdown.
You could try if disabling automatic wallpaper refreshing fixes the problem, the option is under Wallpaper > Options, 'adjust wallpaper when display configuration changes'.
