I'd like to use multimonitor support of current nVidia display driver, but miss taskbar on the secondary monitor. How to start it without the rest of Ultramon so that it doesn't "fight" nVidia multimonitor support?

To do this:
1) disable automatic startup of UltraMon: run regedit.exe, go to the key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon', then set AutoStart to 0
2) configure the Smart Taskbar for automatic startup: go to the UltraMon installation folder, usually C:\Program Files\UltraMon, create a shortcut to UltraMonTaskbar.exe, then drag this shortcut to Start Menu > Programs > Startup
BTW, what kind of problems do you have when running both UltraMon and the nView Desktop Manager? Usually this should work fine.

No problems, but why would I need 2 desktop managers running at the same time? They each try to put extra buttons on the title bar which kind pointless.
