I'm using Synergy (synergy2.sourceforge.net in combination with Ultramon with mostly good results, with one exception -- screensavers.
When I have Ultramon set as the Windows screensaver on the remote machine (the one on which the Synergy client is running), I can't "wake up" (i.e. dismiss) the screensaver; the remote monitor ignores all keyboard and mouse input unless I physically switch to the remote system. If I designate a Windows screensaver (e.g. Bezier) instead of Ultramon in the display properties dialog, I have no problem waking up the screensaver when turns on. So the problem seems to be that Ultramon can't hear the simulated keyboard/mouse actions transmitted by Synergy.
Any suggestions or workarounds? Does anyone else have this problem?

By the way, this behavior occurs whether or not "preview mode" is checked.

Thanks for the report, I've been able to reproduce this issue.
Seems to be due to the UltraMon screen saver running on a separate desktop, where it probably doesn't receive the simulated user input generated by Synergy.
As a workaround, you could enable password protection for the screen saver. The UltraMon screen saver will then run on the same desktop as the Windows screen saver, and will work correctly with Synergy.
UltraMon 3 will most likely no longer use a separate desktop for the screen saver, which should fix this issue. A fix for UltraMon 2 would require changes in Synergy.
