I'm trying to run flurry over all three of my screens.

I have a Geforce 6800 GT for my center screen and a VisionTek (ATI) for my other two screens. Everything works fine for all other junk.

When I run flurry, I can set it to one monitor, and tell it to only run on my center monitor.. works fine.. I cannot run it on either of the other two monitors.. it crashes.. and I can't have it split between all of them.. it also crashes..

When I get out of work, i will provide the error information.. but otherwise.. help?

That's most likely because the secondary monitors (the ones connected to the ATI card) don't support hardware-accelerated OpenGL in this configuration.

As far as I know only a single OpenGL driver gets loaded (the one for the primary video card), which means that hardware acceleration for OpenGL will only be available on video cards supported by this driver.

I tested Flurry on a 2-monitor system with an ATI Radeon X600, worked fine.

So basically, because my second card is an ATI (holding the 2 other monitors) and my primary is Nvidia.

I'm doomed.

What if I install the newest Omega drivers? Any hope at all?

I doubt that this will make any difference.

BTW, even if both video cards are using the same driver, there's no guarantee that you'll get hardware-accelerated OpenGL on all video cards.

Older Nvidia drivers supported this with multiple Nvidia cards installed, but apparently this is no longer supported in newer drivers, you'll only get OpenGL acceleration on monitors connected to the primary video card.

I know this is prob. a stupid question.

But does DirectX work on all three monitors?

Can I run a 3d screensaver seperatly on all three monitors?

Do you have any links to nice non-opengl screensavers?

Direct3D has better multi-monitor support, but the application needs to take advantage of it.

One Direct3D screen saver with full multi-monitor support is Moire.
