Not a fatal error, but kind of annoying.
I have smart taskbar enabled, showing only those apps on the second screen, one of which is Windows Media Player. This tends to stay in skin mode, but it flips to full mode when my PDA is placed in the cradle (to resync the music). The WMP entry on the task bar moves to the primary monitor even though WMP is still on the second monitor, and I have to move WMP to the main monitor and back again before the smart taskbar catches up.

Do you also have this problem when switching between full and skin mode manually?
I tested with UltraMon 2.6 and WMP 10 on Windows XP SP2, but haven't been able to reproduce this issue when switching between modes manually.

Yes, I get this switching manually too.
I'm a developer myself so understand the "we can't reproduce it" problem you have. I'm more than happy to run debug versions if you want to try and narrow it down. It's not critical for me and is only a mild annoyance (far less annoying than many features of Windows in fact).

That's the same version I tested with.
Maybe it's due to the specific skin being used, I tested with the Windows XP skin.

Good call, I never thought to check that. Yes it's the skin - it's fine in the default one. Interestingly enough, this is QuickSilver, so a Microsoft one too.

When you move WMP with the QuickSilver skin between monitors, does UltraMon correctly move the WMP taskbar button?
I have now tested with different skins as well, QuickSilver worked fine for me, but I noticed a problem with the AlienMorph skin, UltraMon can't correctly track the position of WMP if this skin is used.
