I downloaded the file for XP 64 bit and installed it. It installes without error. When I try to run the program, it starts up, a screen cines uo abd saying to preparing to install Ultramon followed by a screning saying wait while Windows configure Utramon. This screen disappears and nothing else happens. I have tried reinstalling the program with no success. I have version .26. I also that the program installs in the regular Program File folder and not the Program File (x86) folder. If you need addition information let me know.

Looks like there is a problem with the installation, please try if repairing it fixes the problem.

To repair the installation, go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, select UltraMon, click on the support information link and then click on Repair.

UltraMon should be installed in the regular Program Files folder, due to being a native 64-bit application. The Program Files (x86) folder is for 32-bit applications.

Hi, I am attempting to use the 64 bit version. Although it installs without error, there is no taskbar icon, and no move/maximize buttons at the top left of open Windows.
I am using Windows xp64

Maybe UltraMon doesn't get started automatically, please try if it works fine when you launch it manually via the shortcut in Start Menu > Programs.

Do you have Tiny Firewall installed?

There's an issue with the 64-bit version of Tiny Firewall which prevents UltraMon from running, see this thread for more information.
