This is an issue with Real Player, most likely it doesn't correctly reinitialize video playback after getting moved to a different monitor.
If you haven't done this already, upgrading to the latest version might be worth a try.

Do you have an NVIDIA card? Whenever I've upgraded the NVIDIA driver, it very annoyingly reenables the "full screen device" for video playback. So if somebody sends me an email with a video file in it, it plays in Windows Media player in the "main" monitor but also consumes my entire right-hand monitor.
I have to disable that annoying feature--and that's a "feature" of the driver.
Having said that, it's possible that it's the way your video driver is configured; the NVIDIA driver that I have has dozens of settings you can tweak--or break.

This is due to Photoshop placing image windows within its main window.
You could maximize Photoshop across the desktop (click on the Maximize to Desktop button added by UltraMon), you can then place image windows on different monitors.
