i tried the ultramon and all other alternatives... ultramon is the best choice... the only problem is i'm using winxp x64 and ultramon 2.5 isnt working properly. i saw the new version 2.6 will support the x64...
if the developers add a smart system tray ability to version 2.6, that will be great... also maybe the possible smartTray ability has a startMenu feature...
and when will version 2.6 be released? what will the cost be? any ideas?

There will be no new Smart Taskbar features in 2.6, system tray and start menu support will be considered for UltraMon 3.
2.6 should be ready soon, I still need to do some testing though.
Pricing will remain the same, see the buy page for the complete price list, and you won't need to pay extra for the x64 version if you already have the regular version.

and i have one more question, now if i buy ultramon, i'll have 2.6 when its released, allright.. and what about the version 3.0?
i read the license text at buy section, and it says if a major version is released within a year it'll be free?
did i understand well?
is there any other tricks i must know, before i decide to buy?

Beta releases for 3.0 will be free upgrades as well, but the final 3.0 release will only be a free upgrade if it is released no later than a year after your purchase.
I don't have a release date for 3.0 final yet, but at the moment it seems unlikely that it will be released within a year.
