when i startup my computer, AIM loads in the correct position on monitor 2, but a second later when ultramon loads up, it moves AIM way over to the oposite side of monitor 1 and changes the windows size. putting aim in the "startup" folder and editing the position values doesnt work because aim first loads a logon window and then the actualy AIM window. so i need to know if there is a way to disable ultramon's auto window positioning because its really annoying to have to move my window every time i start my computer.

thanks.

UltraMon will only position a window if a custom position has been configured for the application shortcut, otherwise UltraMon won't interfere.

I'm not sure why AIM would get moved when UltraMon starts, maybe it's due to the UltraMon taskbar getting docked on monitor 2? You could verify this by right-clicking the taskbar and unchecking 'Always on Top'.

To position AIM with UltraMon, try setting Show to Last Used Position. AIM might also correctly remember its position, I tested with version 5.9.3690, and the buddy list was always positioned correctly on the secondary monitor.

The save/restore window position scripts won't work for this, the scripts use the window handle to identify windows, and this changes each time the application gets started.
