Sometimes, the [<>] and the [[->] buttons on the top bar of some/any Window are not puchable and not working.

Does restarting UltraMon fix the problem?
You can close UltraMon by right-clicking the icon in the system tray, and restart it via Start Menu > Programs.

That's indeed the solution, which I have to perform a few times a day.
It however makes the application less attractive.
Hopefully UltraMon understands the problem.

Might be a compatibility issue with another application, do you have video card software such as ATI HydraVision running?

I indeed use the ATi graphical board, the 8500 Radeon.
I have heard about Hydravision. Hmm, I cannot find out if I use it. I, however, have the Control Panel loaded.

If HydraVision is installed, you should be able to disable it via the ATI icon in the system tray.
I don't think that the ATI control panel would cause any issues for UltraMon.
