I'm a new user and I am having two problems:
1. How do I make a short to google? I have tryed (I think) everything and I cannot get the shortcut to work. 2. I also cannot find the properity settings for short cuts. I tried the following from Christian Studer, but it did not work. The "Ultramon-Window" tab does not appear.
"To change the settings for a standard shortcut on the desktop, right-click the shortcut, select Properties, then change to the 'UltraMon - Window' tab.
After checking 'use custom settings', you can then configure the settings as desired."

Did you try to configure the position for an Internet shortcut? This is not supported, UltraMon can't add the custom tabs to Internet shortcuts (.url files).
To create a shortcut to a specific website, you would need to create a new shortcut manually which launches your browser and passes the website address as a command-line argument:
1) right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray and select Shortcuts > New Shortcut from the menu
2) click the Browse button to select the executable of your browser, then add the website address as a command-line argument. For example to open www.google.com in Internet Explorer, the Application field should look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.google.com
3) configure the position/size as desired on the next page of the wizard
