CoCreateInstance(CLSID_UltraMonIndDisp, 0, CLSCTX_ALL, IID_IUltraMonIndDisp,reinterpret_cast(&pIndDisp));
return pIndDisp=0x00000000,why?
i haved #include "independentdisplays.h" and
#include "independentdisplays_i.c"

Most likely the COM object isn't registered, what does CoCreateInstance return?

thanks a lot for your reply. Just I take a mistake:) I have missed the com initializing code "CoInitializeEx(0, COINIT_APARTMENTTHREADED);"
