I believe it has to do with Hardware acceleration but here goes:

When we mirror the desktop to a Plasma TV(To show clients our designs) Autocad has a grey overlay that when you mouse over it you see the actual graphics behind it. Kind of like mousing over the screen wipes off a grey overlay and you can see what is suppose to actually be there.

Is this a known issue? It happens with a lot of our programs and we have recreated this issue on a completely different setup too.

Using an X700Pro and a GF4MX 440. Even when using strictly the ATI card we had the same problem. Also, we updated all drivers and have tried tweaking ultramon in a million different ways.

HELP!

Does the plasma run at a higher resolution than the main monitor?

I've seen similar issues when upscaling is done (the mirrored image needs to get stretched to fit on the target display).
