I have been running a Dual monitor Win2000 SP1 system for some time now.
Running a primary ATI Rage Pro (AGP) and a Matrox G200 (PCI) and DirectX8a.
Upon uninstalling the UltraMon beta2 trial, I have experienced some big problems!!!
Firstly! Working away on a design project, using Photoshop v.5.5 and the primary display lost signal. Having never experienced this problem before, I tried to safely exit win2000, to troubleshoot the problem; to no avail! Eventually had to hard reset [Not amused :O(].
Rebooted in Safe Mode, thinking GC issue, but no everything AOK. Reboot again into native Win2000 and low and behold after 5 mins. the same primary display malfunction, with the same syptoms of frozen system. As I have the pleasure of a dual-boot system, I booted to a 2nd fresh Win2000 SP1 OS (which had never seen UltraMon) and fired up the same application and finished what I was working on (No problems).
After 2 days of further testing and deliberation, I restored a drive image of my now unusable Primary Win2000 OS, from when I originally installed Ultramon, which low-and-behold, displayed exactly the same issues (as the trial period had ran out).
Finally! I returned my (still unusable!) Win2000 system to a Pre-UltaMon state, where I have a fully functional System again.
My main question is:
Has anybody else experienced problems, with either Win2000 systems after uninstalling, or Photoshop v.5.5?

Hi Adrian,
sorry to hear this. Please answer the following questions so that I can look into the problem:
- which version did you use: UltraMon 2.0 Beta 2 or Beta 3?
- did you have any problems while using UltraMon?
- have you installed an UltraMon wallpaper?
- did you get any errors during uninstallation?
