Hi
I've got 2 issues with ultramon (which is a GREAT application btw):
1. the smart-bar on my 2nd monitor just sticks to the left side and I can not move it to the bottom (where I usually have my taskbar). no matter if I unlock it, I have tried every possible method but the taskbar is not movable for me. is there any way to have the smart-bar on the 2nd monitor to appear on the bottom of the screen instead of the left hand side?
2. when I open ANY window on the 2nd monitor, it will appear just right of the smartbar (which is left of the screen). the newly opened window has such a small size that I can barely see the maximize buttons, and when I click on the maximize button of the new window (explorer, IE...) the window gets even smaller. I have to resize all the windows manually and can NOT maximize them b/c they will shrink. what's wrong here? I use the nvidia 61.82 drivers on a Gainward Ultra/2400 GF6800GT and dualscreening works fine for me usually.
thanks in advance

Ok ok forget the 1. question! I solved it by unlocking the taskbar and dragging it to the bottom on the lower right corner... that should be described somewhere I think for I had to read some posts here in the forum first before I got to know that option.
anyway I still have the maximize-windows problem! when I click maximize, the windows only maximize their heights but stay like 20px in width...

Did you try if disabling the nView Desktop Manager fixes the problem with maximizing?
You can disable the nView Desktop Manager via Control Panel.
UltraMon shouldn't affect the maximize behavior of windows, but maybe it's a compatibility issue with some other application.
