Due to being a software solution, UltraMon mirroring will always have some impact on overall system performance, depending on the hardware (processor, video card) and the mirroring settings used.
Some things you can do to increase performance:
- use the same resolution for the mirror source and target monitors
- if using the same resolution isn't possible: go to mirroring options and uncheck 'use high-quality downscaling'
- go to mirroring options and check 'improve performance for window moving'
