This is most likely due to the game changing the resolution of the primary monitor, see the FAQ for more on this issue.
Both of the workarounds mentioned can be easily implemented using UltraMon, for example with a display profile which moves the secondary monitor to the left of the primary, or a customized shortcut to the game which either moves the secondary monitor or changes the resolution of the primary monitor before launching the game.
