Hello,
I have been using UltraMon for some time now :-) but recently some strange thing is occuring which was working fine before: using the "disable secondary" context menu won't do anything.
un/Installing UltraMon did not help either.
I remember I was plugging and unplugging Monitors before because of moving the system to a different location. After reconnecting, of course the primary monitor was the wrong one again (Murphy) and after some plugging and switching again he monitors were in correct order but won't disable any longer................
Any hints?

Seems unlikely that this would affect UltraMon, please try if you can manually disable the secondary monitor in Windows Display Properties (uncheck 'Extend my Windows desktop...').

The setting that you mentioned was unchecked. (Regardless of that, both desktops worked fine) After CHECKING it, disabling worked again as expected :-)

p.s. it might be good to add a search function to the forum (even it is just via google...) because you cannot find other peoples questions and replies that might have covered the same topic

Maybe span mode was enabled for some reason, in this mode both monitors are recognized as a single one by Windows and UltraMon, and disabling secondary monitors via UltraMon would no longer work. Nvidia and Matrox support span mode, ATI doesn't.
You can search from the main forum page, this will search in all forums though, there's currently no way to search in the UltraMon forum only.
