I was just wondering if you know when the next version of UltraMon will be released? I love it and cannot wait for the next version, especially the possibility of changing the wallpaper automatically.

The first UltraMon 3 beta is scheduled for Q1 2004, and will introduce new Smart Taskbar features.
Other new features/improvements will then be introduced in subsequent beta releases.

I'm having problems with the current Smart Taskbar. In 2.4.21.0 the smart taskbars don't always drop down and they always seem to contain tasks that have been closed.

Please let me know if you are using auto-hide or if you have experienced this problem with fullscreen applications only.
Does the problem with the remaining task buttons only occur with specific applications?
As a workaround, you can right-click an UltraMon taskbar and select Refresh from the menu.

See this thread for more on the left-over task buttons issue.
Regarding the auto-hide taskbar not hiding again: I haven't seen this issue with the UltraMon taskbars so far, but noticed it with the Windows taskbar on XP (on one system only): after closing an application, the Windows taskbar gets shown. This happens with or without UltraMon running.

Speaking of the new version, I have sent multiple emails to sales@realtimesoft.com without result.
Is that a fake email? I want to purchase multiple copies of Ultramon but I need to have my questions answered.
It appears that you monitor this forum very well so please advise me as to how to contact sales.
