Hi all,

When I connect with Remote Desktop to my multi-monitor machine, all icons are moved to the first monitor. But, when I re-connect in local, the icons are never restored to original positions.

Also, I will like to see the option to run a script when monitors are enabled or disabled: normally I run prograns in the second monitor, that I like to stop when I connect with Remote Desktop.

You agree?

Try disabling automatic icon positioning (UltraMon Options > General, preserve position of desktop icons).

The problem is that if automatic icon positioning is activated, UltraMon stores icon positions during shutdown, also if UltraMon gets closed during the remote session. The next time you log in locally, UltraMon would then restore the icon positions saved during the last remote session.

You can still manually save/restore the position of desktop icons via the UltraMon menu.

An option to run a script when secondary monitors get disabled/enabled will be considered for UltraMon 3.
