Matrox has posted new drivers, called eDualHead. One of the new features is apparently true support for Win2000.
Has anyone tested them already? Do you really see both monitors in Win2000 display settings?

I've tried them, and yes you really do see both monitors like you would under Windows 98. I'm not sure how they did it, but they did and it works great.

Have been using the new drivers for a couple of days now with W2K and a G450. All works well, or so it seems; Device Manager shows two cards -- must be some clever trickery there to fool the OS.
I do wonder about CPU usage, though. Can't find it now, but someone else was reporting excessive CPU usage with the new drivers.

When you get a g450 matrox card for W2000 DO NOT install the drivers on the cd. Register the card and download the edualhead suite.
Install your card and the wizard asks where to get the drivers ? C;mga file. Watch carefully for the box to check "dual monitor support"

Does this card have a TV card in it ?
Or does a version exist ?
I can't seem to find a card that 'does it all' !

Any Chance Nvidia is gonna figure this out too??
I hope so :) If matrox can, I have to believe that Nvidias seemingly more talented driver crew can also. My biggest concern is that they don't care and aren't working on it.
