I have a problem when enabling a secondary monitor where my mouse goes nuts. It clicks and moves all over the desktop opening programs closing open windows clicking icons, etc. Although it doesn't always do it a lot of times it does. Also seems to happen more frequently if I endable the secondary monitor shortly after booting, after all the boot tasks are complete but before opening any programs.
Running winxp pro with radeon 9700pro latest drivers.

Most likely this isn't related to UltraMon, you could try if you still have the problem after uninstalling UltraMon.
I've had a similar problem some time ago (although not related to disabling a monitor, just started out of the blue), eventually it went away. Unfortunately I never found out what caused it.

Thanks, I will see if I can figure out what the problem is. It only happens when I enable the secondary monitor though, not at other times. It doesn't always happen when enabling the secondary but most of the time it does.

still haven't determined what causes this but it never does it when using the windows display prop. to enable.
