When I start UT2003 on the primary monitor, the second monitor is squished. The screenshot below shows the behavior.
On the left is UT2003, and the border of that is the end of the primary monitor. A program in the background (teamspeak; purple in middle) is pushed over about 2/3 of it over to the other monitor slightly and the other application running on the second is squished to accomodate the room the other monitor is pushing over.

This happens if a DirectX game changes the display resolution, and you have one or more monitors to the right of the primary monitor.
One workaround would be to assign custom display settings to the game (open Properties for the shortcut, then select the UltraMon - Display tab).
You could either change the resolution of the primary monitor to match the game resolution, or move the second monitor to the left of the primary.
See the FAQ for more on this issue.

Thanks Christian. Since you mention the faq's, I do remember seeing that FAQ. It wasn't until later that I noticed it happening. I went with changing the primary resolution.
