Why doesn't UltraMon support transparent desktop icon text background ??
If I turn of UltraMon Wallpaper transparency is back and the desktop looks really wonderful again. I cannot believe this function is not included in the new version. Or is it possible to fix this ??

What operating system are you using?
Only Windows XP has native support for desktop icon transparency, which also works fine with UltraMon wallpapers.

I'm using Windows XP and it does not work fine. I also use Style XP for the themes, but disabling Style XP didn't seem to help either.

Maybe it's a compatibility issue with some other application, UltraMon wallpapers are just like any other Windows wallpapers.
Please try the following: open the UltraMon wallpaper manager and apply the Default wallpaper, then go to Display Properties > Desktop, select the Bliss wallpaper and apply it. Check if the desktop icons are transparent. Now select the Default wallpaper (this is the one generated by UltraMon), set Position to Tile and apply it, then check again if desktop icons are still transparent.
