how do i make it so the alt+tab box is always in a specific monitor other than my primary monitor?

This isn't possible at the moment, I'll consider this feature for a future release.

i think the alt + tab screen should show up on both monitors

I second that...alt-tab on both screens would be great!

Absolutely, this is the only feature missing in this great piece of software. Ii's really frustrating when you have to turn your head and look at the other monitor when you switch between programs.

First off, simply amazing program, just found it. I just started using a second monitor and found it to be only minimally useful, now that I have UltraMon its like having two computers, complete synergy with how I work..

One feature request though.. Seperate alt-tab support for each monitor, to alt-tab through the tasks in that monitor.

Amazing product, you'll have my money shortly!

I'll add yet another twist: why not show the Alt+Tab window on the monitor with the currently active window? This would seem to make the most sense, since that's where you're going to be looking anyway.

Hi,

I think a very good solution would be if Alt+Tab shows the aplication included in the first monitor an the dialog also at the first monitor and Strg+Alt+Tab does the same with the second one.

Once you jump from one monitor to two (or more) monitors, I think it "feels" like you have two computers, with the same keyboard/mouse combo controlling both.

At first, things do not work as you anticipate they should, as they are not two computers. Fundamentally, a lot of annoyances come from this expectation of two separate computers. You feel as though you are on two systems, until you hit "ALT-TAB", and then you are annoyingly reminded that you are only on one system. I think any 'bug' fixes or features should concentrate on keeping this 'feeling' of two computers to the best of their ability.

Therefore, following my philosophy, ALT-TAB should work just on the applications on whatever monitor is in focus at that moment, and also show up only on that monitor.

I'm not even sure if my philosophy is correct, and I'm sure no philosophy is correct for 100% of users, so I'm interested in what others have to say.

The next best solution is showing ALT-TAB on both monitors.

I'm going to look into this for UltraMon 3, but don't know yet if it can/will be implemented.
