Nice work Christian. This thing is getting more and more stable with MS Office programs.

Here is the only Excel bug I'm running into now.

Open however many number of Excel files it takes for them to group on the primary windows taskbar (on the primary monitor).

Click on Ultramon's 'Move Window' title bar button to move the group to the Smart Taskbar on the secondary monitor. They don't group (and I didn't expect them to), but they don't all move over either. One entry is always left on the windows taskbar.

I wouldn't have even noticed this, as I have my system set up to group after 15 like documents are opened. It just happened that I opened 15 Excel files today and needed to move them.

Anyway... good luck!

Hi Jeremy,

this works fine for me, here's what I tested:

3 Excel worksheets on the primary, grouped into a single taskbar button. The main Excel window maximized to the primary monitor. VB Editor on monitor 2.

Moving the main Excel window to monitor 2 or 3 using the Move Window button moves all 3 Excel taskbar buttons to the correct taskbar.

Please check if you didn't have the VB Editor on the primary monitor, I noticed that its taskbar button gets added to the same button group (4 items - 3x Excel Worksheet, 1x VB Editor), but the VB Editor of course stays on the primary monitor when moving the main Excel window.

OK,

I figured out what's causing the bug on my system, but I can't seem to generically reproduce it. So I guess I haven't really figured it out then have I? :-)

I have a workbook that has a user form that is always active and its 'Show Modal' property is set to False. When I switch to another Excel file, the form is set to hide. After doing this, then moving the Excel to the secondary monitor, the file that has the hidden form in it is left as an entry in the windows taskbar.

I tried to reproduce this by building a generic example, and couldn't. It only seems to happen for this one particular file. If I figure out any more, I'll let you know.
