Just installed UltraMon. It's a joy - compliments.

Open an MS-Word documen. This document contains some Hidden text.

Open a new window to the same document.

Maximize each window in a different monitor.

Have just one of the windows display the hidden text (tools/options/view/Hidden Text.

Works fine for me with Word XP and Windows XP. What kind of problems did you experience?

Also using Windows XP and Office XP. Word's window started to flicker.

Additional issues:

Word started sometimes to appear with an empty frame window.

Sometimes windows don't appear in either task bar.

Additional:

Had two Word windows, one in each monitor (to the same document). Opened a (tools/options) dialogue box to the left one. The dialog appeared on the right monitor (the primary one) together with an empty frame window.

After closing the diaglogue maximized the empty frame window, who happily moved to the left monitor and stays there.

Maybe these issues are related to the Matrox PowerDesk Multi Display Controls which are:
* Save/Restore window positions when program are opened/closed.
* Open program windows in display 2 (the left, secondary one)
* Use CenterPoPUP In Parent program window
* Use MaxView in the display containing the window
* Maximize windows across all displays.

Additional - When computer starts, it starts with an empty MS-Word frame. There's nothing in the startup menu.

Please try if you have the same problem if either PowerDesk or UltraMon is disabled.

UltraMon can be closed from the system tray icon, to disable PowerDesk you might have to kill the process (PDeskNet.exe) using Task Manager > Processes.

It's Outlook! When I open Outlook on one monitor the empty word frame window opens on the other one!
