The little ultramon icon near the clock.....if I disabled other monitors the icon used to change to a picture of 1 screen, and when all screens were enabled it showed 2 screens, now it just always shows the same icon whether or not other screens are enabled or not (the 2 screen icon) Dunno if its meant to be like that or maybe a oversite in the beta, dont really matter much either way i suppose

Still works fine for me, after disabling secondary monitors I get the 1-monitor icon. I tested on Windows XP.
Please check if you have the correct icons. Icons are stored in C:\Program Files\UltraMon\Icons. You should have a folder for each icon pair, installed by default are Classic and Default. UMSingle.ico should be the 1-monitor icon, UMMulti.ico the one with 2 monitors.

Seem to have everything ok, am running WinXp pro here on athlon2000 included screenshot link showing x2 icons near clock, both icon files, and the "about" in ultramon, this isnt really a hassle for me though not having the icons change http://home.iprimus.com.au/daniel54/screenshot.jpg

PS - in the screenshot, both other screens were disabled by double clicking the icon near clock (which i have set as enable/disable secondary monitors)

My guess would be that your existing settings weren't correctly updated during the upgrade, and UltraMon now uses the default icon for both single- and multi-monitor mode.
To verify this, open regedit.exe and take a look at the 'System Tray Icon' value of the key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Customization'. If this value is '0' or '1', replace it with 'Default' (without the quotes), then restart UltraMon.
