As my primary adapter, i have a creative labs agp 3d blaster riva tnt2. As my secondary, i have a pci S3 virge GX. Doesn't work, no matter which is set to primary. From reading earlier posts, i see one person says the creative tnt2 CANNOT be used as a secondary adapter. Another post says the S3 cannot be used as the secondary adapter. This would explain why the S3 gives a "cannot start" error when set to secondary and why I cannot boot with the craetive card set as secondary. Am I correct, then, in assuming I will never get these cards to work together? If so, what would be a good inexpensive secondary card to replace the Virge?

This combo should work, but you'll have to make sure the S3 is primary in BIOS. See the FAQ for more information.

That's what I thought at first, too, but what happens when I try that is that win2k hangs after getting through about 2/3 of the progress bar(as viewed on the s3's monitor). Then I read on this forum(today) that the creative tnt2 I'm using can't be used as a secondary card, so i figured perhaps that was the problem. I've tried a turning res/colors all the way down and disabling all acceleration to get the s3 to boot as primary, but alas, the system still hangs 2/3 of the way through booting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
