I have a PC Vectra VLi8 WIN NT (service pack 4) with a graphics adapter(Matrox MGA G200 AGP) integrated in the computer's motherboard (without AGP slot). Now I have acquired another graphics adapter (Matrox Millennium G200 SD PCI) for to connect another monitor (in multi-display mode). I have installed the adapter in the slot PCI. The installation it's OK.

Now, I have a problem: in my display settings of the "Matrox Power Desk" appear the icon to enabled dual-video card functionality, but, when I actived the functionality, I must change the resolution from 1024x768 to 640x480 or other, and the desktop area is separate in my two monitors (as a single large display).
Now I would have same desktop area in my two monitors (as indipendent); what I do on my principal/primary monitor must be seen on the second (the same functionality of the "splitter").

Help me !!!

I don't use NT4 with multiple monitors myself, but as far as I know it works like that:

- setting the resolution in Display Properties to that of the first monitor enables mirroring (two independent displays)
- setting the resolution to cover both monitors (for example, if both monitors are at 800x600, you would set 1600x600), enables a single desktop, just like on Win98/2000.

Hope this helps,
