I have my main taskbar on monitor 2 and a smart taskbar on monitor 1.
From time to time (and I can't pin this down to any particular app) when I close apps on monitor 1 the taskbar icons don't go away. To fix it I have to right-click the smart taskbar, turn off Show Tasks from Monitor 1, and then turn it on again.
Doesn't seem to be related to any particular app, but does seem to occur after a long session.
OS is Windows 98SE - UltraMon is 2.0 final
2 monitors Current desktop: 2048x768 (0,0 - 2048,768)
Monitor 1 - SyncMaster (primary): Settings: 1024x768, 16-bit color, optimal refresh rate Coordinates: 0,0 - 1024,768. Workspace: 0,0 - 1024,740 Video card: Matrox Millennium G400 DualHead - English Device: \\.\Display1\U0\Monitor1
Monitor 2 - Default Monitor: Settings: 1024x768, 16-bit color, optimal refresh rate Coordinates: 1024,0 - 2048,768. Workspace: 1024,28 - 2048,740 Video card: Matrox Millennium G400 DualHead - English Device: \\.\Display1\U1\Monitor1

If you see any pattern in this behavior, for example it happens after starting/closing a specific application, after the screen saver has come on, etc, please let me know.
I haven't seen this problem myself so far, and am not sure what would cause it.

Still happening occasionally. Absolutely cannot pin it down to any particular application - except perhaps IE6, as it seems to happen after I've opened and closed a lot of windows, which happens when I'm browsing and switching sites.

Hello! I had the same problem. Anytime i closed or moved an app to the other monitor, its task-symbol stayed. The whole setting "task-symbol moves with task" did not work. I hope you have understood everything, cya.
(system: Geforce Ti4200, 2 monitors)
